Dining

Fresh, Local, Scratch

We honor the food and our producers, partners, and guests by serving fresh seasonal ingredients, sourcing local produce, and caring enough to prioritize from-scratch cooking.

Sustainability

Sustainable stewardship starts with strategies for reducing food waste like batch cooking and mindful preparation. Buying local, composting, and recycling make programs even more effective. These goals are core to our design approach – reducing costs while doing the right thing for our communities and planet.

Education

As part of your community, we expand perspectives and palettes through the food we serve. We educate with programs focused on cultural awareness through cuisine, mindful eating, nutrition education, environmental impacts, and an appreciation of our local food landscapes.

Bill Korhammer District Manager

Bill has exceptional team-building skills, having gained them from his years as an athlete at the high school (basketball, swimming and volleyball) and college levels (volleyball at Lafayette). His love for swimming carried over to his younger daughter who swam for Dickinson College. While she was competing, Bill stayed connected with swimming not only as a fan, but as a USA and PIAA official. Bill’s wife, Deanna, is an art teacher and together outside of work they enjoy travel and experiencing new cuisines.

About Meriwether Godsey

Founded in 1985, Meriwether Godsey is a women-led Dining Management Company serving partners throughout the mid-Atlantic. Marie “Rie” Meriwether Godsey and her husband, Eddie, started MG as a catering business in 1980. In 1985, while working for a large contractor, both became convinced that they could provide what larger operators could not: personal attention, customized solutions, and consistently fabulous food. This remains our focus today: to deliver unique solutions for our partners while holding true to our Core Values.
