{"id":18221,"date":"2021-05-04T13:03:27","date_gmt":"2021-05-04T17:03:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mgdining.com\/gds\/?p=18221"},"modified":"2021-05-04T17:36:12","modified_gmt":"2021-05-04T21:36:12","slug":"chilled-blueberry-soup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mgdining.com\/gds\/2021\/05\/04\/chilled-blueberry-soup\/","title":{"rendered":"Chilled Blueberry Soup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Serves 6<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00bd c sugar<br \/>\n\u00bd c orange juice (fresh is best)<br \/>\n1 T orange zest (optional)<br \/>\n1 c fruity white wine (or \u00bd c white grape juice with \u00bd c of water)<br \/>\n2 c blueberries, fresh or frozen<br \/>\ndash salt<br \/>\n1 c whipped cream or plain yogurt<br \/>\nfresh mint, chopped<\/p>\n<p><strong>Procedure<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Bring sugar, OJ, orange zest, wine or grape juice\/water to boil.<br \/>\n2. Add blueberries; cook until they pop &amp; sugar has dissolved.<br \/>\n3. Add dash of salt; remove from heat &amp; cool completely.<br \/>\n4. Puree cooled blueberry mixture. Strain through fine sieve. Chill.<br \/>\n5. Before serving, swirl in whipped cream or yogurt.<br \/>\n6.
