{"id":17775,"date":"2024-07-01T09:08:15","date_gmt":"2024-07-01T13:08:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mgdining.com\/foxcroft\/?p=17775"},"modified":"2024-07-01T17:28:30","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T21:28:30","slug":"green-chile-fritters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mgdining.com\/foxcroft\/2024\/07\/01\/green-chile-fritters\/","title":{"rendered":"Green Chile Fritters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em>Serves 12<\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>4 c all-purpose flour<br \/>\n2 \u00bc t baking powder<br \/>\n\u00be t kosher salt<br \/>\n1 T sugar<br \/>\n1 large egg, beaten<br \/>\n2 c milk<br \/>\n3 T canola oil<br \/>\n2, 4 oz cans of diced green chiles<br \/>\n4 T canola oil for cooking<br \/>\n2 c purchased queso or cheese sauce<\/p>\n<p><strong>Procedure:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>1. Combine dry ingredients in bowl, mix on low speed for 10 seconds.<br \/>\n2. In a separate bowl mix together egg, milk, green chiles, and first quantity of canola oil. Add to mixing bowl with dry ingredients and mix only enough to moisten dry ingredients.<br \/>\n3. Heat the second quantity of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.<br \/>\n4.
