Healthier Offerings

Each day, our menus at Holton Arms feature offerings identified with these symbols:

  • Vegetarian
  • Low Fat ♥ – defined as less than 3 grams of fat
  • Healthier■ – defined as:
    • Less than 5 grams of saturated fat
    • For Entrees, less than 350 calories
    • For Soups, Salads and Sides, less than 250 calories
    • For Baked Goods, less than 230 calories
    • To include lean meats; low-oil seafoods, preparation methods that enhance natural flavors without adding fat or salt

We also have the help of Sherri Meyer, RD, MS, Meriwether Godsey Registered Dietitian.  Sherri visits campus to offer inservices to dining staff or workshops for our community.
